Whilst the festival season for many may have ended in August, myplace has carried on well into the winter. The much anticipated myplace festivals have now taken place and here is the lowdown on what went on.
If you are involved in making a myplace centre happen, the myplace youth festivals are for you. You will get a chance to learn and share your ideas and views on different aspects of your project and to gain new skills. The festivals will be a great way to meet other young people from other myplace projects nationally, but mainly to have some fun!
These events are for young people involved in myplaceprojectsand aim to help put young people in the driving seat for the programme. The Festivals are organised by the myplace Young Consultants who are young people aged between 18 and 25 who work as part of the national myplacesupport team.
We are hoping all myplace projects will be represented by a group of young people attending with a youth worker. Here are some details on the festival you can pass on and links to the registration form.
During the day you'll have the chance to take part in your choice of three activities from the list below. We've got all the arrangements in place so all of these activities should be on offer, unless there are any last minute illnesses. There may be more - and if there is something you would like to see let us know and we'll see what we can do.
