BBC holding open auditions for new series of The Cut

Tags: youth activity

For anyone who caught the first series of The Cut then you'll know how good it was. And other people obviously thought so too, because the BBC has commissioned a second series.

What's more is, they are holding open auditions in four UK cities to find two new characters to join the cast.

For those who don't know, The Cut is a multi-platform teen soap opera, appearing in 5 minute episodes online, before being broadcast as an omnibus on television. It is developed by BBC Switch and Eastenders writer Al Smith.

The auditions will be held in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London. But, don't worry if you can't make it to any of the auditions, you can also apply online.

So, if you fancy seeing your name up in lights and giving your myplace centre their very own TV star then head over to the website here.

But be quick, there isn't long until the deadline!
