Arts at the heart of myplace

The Arts Council England is committed to providing access to top quality arts facilities around the country and they have produced a booklet endorsing myplace's role in helping young people get involved in the arts.

The 19-page booklet outlines both the Arts Council and myplace's role in offering services for young people and features case studies from particular projects that have shown excellent commitment to the arts for young people and the community.

Featured in the booklet is Mountfields Lodge Youth Centre and Charnwood Arts in Leicestershire, Gorse Hill Studios in Trafford and Connecting Youth Culture schemes in North Yorkshire. Websites and contact details are also provided for all these case studies.

Other important and useful websites and contact details are included in the booklet, such as BIG Lottery Fund, National Body for Youth Leadership, and the National Youth Agency.
