Make your project Shine

From the 6-10 July 2009 Shine Week, a national week celebrating all talents in all young people, is taking place.

Embracing the energy and enthusiasm of young people, teachers and youth workers Shine Week creates a real buzz across the country and in the media and is a really exciting way to celebrate the talent that every young person has. Shine Week is about celebrating all talent, it can be in the performing arts but it can also be in technology, science or working in the community.

Organisations and young people can get involved in a variety of ways from downloading event packs to uploading videos and blogging. Why not share your myplace project with other young people, projects and organisations across the UK. You could write about what your project will do, ask for ideas from other organisations, post a video about your project or even write a song about your project. It's a great way to showcase what you're doing and to let people know about your myplace project. Why not celebrate the work you are doing and show off the talent of the young people you work with.
