They cover a variety of topics and will help people or projects develop their knowledge in specific areas of participation with young people. Participants will also help discover new ideas and exercises to do with children and young people in their own organisations and understand how to incorporate the training into their work.
Jo Denoris, Training and Consultancy Coordinator of Participation Works said: "These courses were developed in response to repeated requests for more hands on, practical tools and training. Combining the expertise from the guides and innovative participatory training methods has produced four interesting courses; each enabling the participants to develop practical skills and knowledge in the topic area"
Participation Works is a consortium made of several national children and young people's agencies including British Youth Council, National Youth Agency and Save the Children - England. They work with the agencies to help bring about a positive change for young people across the country.
