Westfield Folk House On Site

The sight of hard hats and high-vis jackets is one that many myplace projects across the country are now getting used to as building work is getting under way. Westfield Folk House in Mansfield is one such project and the photos in our gallery below show just what's going on.

It was the first time that young people were able to get onto the site since building work began. They finally got to see the foundations being laid and got to have a look at the final plans and scale model of how their world-class facility is set to turn out.

Among the people at the site were several potential users of the new centre, as well as members of a disability support team and Tony Egginton, the Mayor of Mansfield.

Westfield Folk House is due to open early next year so keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
